Chenin Room
The elegant Chenin Room is a spacious 48m² bedroom with its own private patio that leads on to the manicured gardens of the Manor with views towards the majestical Saronsberg mountains. The Groot Winterhoek mountains is snowcapped in winter and will greet you as you peep through the wooden sash windows.
The room has a four-poster canopy queen-size bed dressed with fresh white cotton linen, a TV, bar fridge, safe, hairdryer and an espresso machine for that early morning cappuccino while seeing the sun rise from your own patio. The over-sized bathroom with its notable free standing copper bathtub makes the Chenin Room everyone’s darling.
Grenache Room
The smart Grenache Room is a large 31m² en-suite bedroom that leads out to the sparkling swimming pool and the terrace. The patio overlooks the green olive groves and provides an impressive view of the Kasteelberg Mountain that hugs the town of Riebeek West.

Syrah Room
The spacious Syrah room consists of a 28m² en-suite bedroom with a view of the majestic Kasteelberg Mountain and direct access to the salt-water pool and the terrace under the patio. Pull up your sun lounger and enjoy the smell of lavender in the late afternoons, with a local Chenin wine in hand.
Syrah has a fourposter canopy queen-size bed with fresh cotton linen an antique bath and large shower. A TV, fridge, safe, hairdryer, espresso machine complements the room.
Viognier Room
The classic Viognier Room is a 24m² en suite bedroom which focuses on the impressive Kasteelberg Mountain that peeps through the olive trees, flanking the back of the homestead’s gardens.
Viognier has direct access to the sparkling swimming pool and the terrace under the patio where you can enjoy the stunning mountain views with your late afternoon tea.

The Manor House
Thinking of a family getaway, a small team conference or a weekend away to re-connect with old friends?
Book the entire Manor House and The Barn – which together sleeps ten people – for a two-day retreat and choose the self-catering option. Connect over a braai, lounge next to the pool with cocktails, meet in the Littlest Library for pre-drinks and then cook and laugh together in the well-equipped kitchen – the full Manor House can be yours.
Or consider treating your bridal party to a weekend away before your country wedding in the Riebeek Valley. Merindol Manor is also ideal for weddings and small celebrations – the manicured gardens and vine-covered lanes are ideal for intimate garden get-togethers with loved ones to celebrate milestone birthdays, anniversaries and nuptials.
The Barn
Merindol Manor’s renovated barn is a comfy, rustic 29m2 studio situated in the beautiful gardens, a short distance from the Manor House. A king size bed (160cm x 200cm) offers comfortable rest for 2 adults. There is a separate bathroom which includes a bath and shower. A large fridge, a kettle, a coffee machine, a microwave and WIFI are available in the Barn for your convenience. Guests have access to the swimming pool and garden of the Manor House. The large patio and outside braai further adds to the enjoyment of your relaxing stay.
